At this level, the candidate’s leadership in complex projects towards the team(s) throughout the
project life cycle is assessed. This also applies to portfolio and programme roles and life-cycles.
Who is IPMA-B for?
For experienced project managers managing complex projects, programmes and portfolios.
Certified Senior Project Manager
The candidate has experience in a complex project environment within an organisation.
Within the last 8 years, the candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager, of which at least 3 years in responsible leadership positions managing complex projects. In justified cases, the aforementioned period of 8 years may be extended by 4 to 12 years.
Certified Senior Programme Manager
The candidate has experience in a complex programme environment within an organisation.
Certified Senior Portfolio Manager
The candidate has experience in a complex portfolio environment within an organisation.
Within the last 8 years, the candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a portfolio manager, of which at least 3 years in responsible management positions, managing complex portfolios. In justified cases, the aforementioned period of 8 years may be extended by 4 to 12 years.

Complete the above documents and send to the Certification Office at: ewa.zawadzka@ipma.pl
From the moment the candidate’s application documents are received, the CERT Office has 14
working days to check them and respond (request for supplementation or confirming completeness). Once you have agreed a timetable for writing your paper with the Assessors, you will write a project report using the template below.

PLN 9,840 gross (including 23% VAT)
PLN 5,535 gross (including 23% VAT) if you are IPMA-C certified
IPMA Polska members are entitled to a discount of 5%.
The certificate is granted for 5 years. After this time, an application can be made to extend the
validity of the certificate for another 5 years. (details: Recertification)
